2PM's first Japanese DVD has been ranked at No. 4 on Japan's prestigious Oricon chart.
The group's DVD "Hottest~2PM 1st Music Video Collection & The History~,” which came in second on the daily chart on the day of its release on November 24, took fourth place on ranked at No. 4 on Oricon's overall weekly chart as of November 29.
"Hottest~2PM 1st Music Video Collection & The History~” features a collection of music videos of their hit songs and never-before-seen footage of the group.
Meanwhile, the boys' agency JYP Entertainment explained that 2PM will hold two more shows for their showcase "2PM 1ST CONTACT IN JAPAN" to be held at The Kokugika on December 8 with the times set for 2 p.m, 5 p.m and 8 p.m.
They will release their first full-length album through a special Japanese edition titled "01:59PM JAPAN SPECIAL EDITION" on the same day as well.

The release date for girl group T-ara's new album has been pushed back to December 3, according to their agency Core Contents Media on Thursday.
A press release by Core Contents stated that the album will go on sale in early December instead of the original date which had been set for November 29.
Accordingly, their second mini-album, whose title is translated into "Why Are You Like That," will hit stores on December 3 and become available online at midnight the same day.

ZE:A's agency's representative said to Newsen: "ZE:A's comeback, which was scheduled for November, has been tentatively postponed. The reasons are agency's other artists' activities and that the song selection took longer than expected."
"The album release has been postponed but Kwanghee, Dongjoon and other members will continue with their activities" he said to the concerned fans.

I'm very angry too. Feel like bashing up the taiwanese. They are so despicable, even an anti-fans wouldn't do something like this, going on tv shows to talk bad about korean artists, making proofless accusation. It was a dream I did not want to wake up from, something I have not felt for some time. By now it will be a waste of breathe to go on about how well the drama portrayed the friendship, love and lessons among young scholars, how well it incorporated serious political themes into the story and such. But to quote heroine Yoon-hee’s words that “people can get lost amid dizzy tracks in life and forget what they originally came for” as happened to many good dramas in the past, let us check whether that had not happened to this drama in regards to its initial theme and message of hope.
SungKyunKwan Scandal was outstanding in the sense that even as it talked about an ideal society, it never turned its back on reality either. That was why every step taken by Kim Yoon-hee (played by Park Min-young) and her three gang members, the “Jalgeum” foursome, wavered and was filled with agony just like a compass needle that wobbles before pointing to a direction. Nothing was ever done in a sure stride.
If King Jeongjo had focused single-mindedly on finding “Geumdeungjisa,” the memoirs of his grandfather King Yeong-jo that expressed regrets for executing his son Crown Prince Sado (also King Jeongjo’s father) which would have left everyone happy, it could have been a clean-cut way to end the story, yet it would have also missed the real point to the story as well as ignore the historical facts. But the drama also gave the determined Jeongjo time to doubt himself. And thanks to this plotline, the king’s dream of rebuilding Joseon anew was never realized but gave birth to another dream that could have been ruined in the process of pursuing the former.
To dream is a word that is in the present tense, not something that has been completed. Thus despite the unexpected ending scene that left many youngsters feeling anxious, the real story is not over for Joseon and the young scholars at SungKyunKwan Academy. The learning process simply goes on. After all, do we not all want to keep remembering their dreams and dream of them?
Kim Hyun Joong will sing at the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games in November.
According to a press release from Kim’s agency KEYEAST, Kim Hyun Joong, who is also the leader of SS501, will sing Guangzhou Asiad’s title song “Sunshine Again (日出東方) at its opening ceremony slated for November 12.
“We received an official request from the organizing committee of the Guangzhou Asian Games a month ago. He’ll be singing with four Chinese singers,” an official at KEYEAST was quoted as saying, adding Kim will depart for Guangzhou on November 11.
Some 10,000 people are expected to attend the opening ceremony which will also be broadcast live to over one billion people across Asia.
2AM dominated cable music channel Mnet's singles chart last week with their newly released first full-length album.
During the week of October 25 to 31, tracks “You Wouldn’t Answer My Calls” and “Like Crazy” from the boys' latest record titled "Sain o'clock" took first and second place, respectively, on Mnet's singles chart.

Korean drama "Naughty Kiss," starring Korean actors Kim Hyun-joong and Jung So-min, has been sold to 11 countries in Asia.
A press release from KEYEAST announced Monday that the 16-part series was purchased in Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, Burnei and Taiwan.
"The buyers in Japan and in the other Asian countries have high expectations for the drama and media outlets from each country have requested that promotional events or interviews be held," a producer from the drama was quoted as saying.
Meanwhile, a YouTube version of "Naughty Kiss," produced into seven ten-minute long episodes, will start its run starting tomorrow.

"Acoustic" is a youth movie about 20-year-olds who look to music for their hopes, dreams, and love. Sin Se-kyeong will play a vocalist who has a rare disease that requires her to eat only ramyun. Seulong partners with Baek Jin-hee to become an awkward but lonely boy and girl. Also, Lee Jong-hyeon and Kang Min-hyeok from CN Blue play a drummer and a guitarist who enter a new music world after meeting a bakery owner.
In the movie, the song 'L.O.V.E.' that Seulong sings is a song that 2AM members sang for the soundtrack. They wanted to support Seulong in his first movie. It is a bright and soft melody that captures the heart. It also written by a hit song writer. Seulong also appears in the music video as an awkward dancer. The music video is very popular and drawing a lot of attention to the movie.
This special project highlights the acting and musical talents of pop icons and highlights youth and music. It will find audiences in late October.

On a recent episode of BigbangTV on Mnet, G-Dragon was seen in the recording studio with YG CEO and Teddy. It has been revealed that the group is currently preparing for their Korean comeback with G-Dragon hinting that they have already chosen 18 possible tracks for the release. The only problem is they need to get BIGBANG together first and wait for the rest of the members (who had individual activities + Chuseok holidays) to return.

The members of girl group 2NE1 have been appointed promotional ambassadors for law and order.
At an event hosted by the Ministry of Justice on Tuesday to launch a volunteer group for the G20 Summit in November, the band announced a campaign song to encourage people to abide by the law.

T-ara's Ryu Hwayoung and fellow member Jiyeon joined Co.ed in their joint studio on the 29th for a party.
Hwayoung and her twin sister, Hyoyoung, both belong to Core Contents Media and on the 30th, Hyoyoung will be making her debut with "Too Late". For this special day, Jiyeon and Hwayoung joined together with Co.ed to celebrate.
Hwayoung told Star News, "Because my sister is going to debut first, I'm very happy. It came very hard for my sister, along with the Co.ed members and I'm happy it's leading to good results," she said.
"T-ara is doing well and was very welcoming. I share a room in our dorm with Eunjung and Soyeon. Me and Jiyeon get along well since we are the same age," she said laughing.

The choice that the Hong sisters made was to make the story convincing by having the old lady, who is the source of the legend of Gumiho, appear at the end of the show. And in that process, all the predictable endings appeared in order -- from when Miho disappears on the last day leaving behind Dae-woong, to the moment Dae-woong gets hit by a truck to check Miho's existence, to when Miho meets with Dae-woong again in the way that they had first met. Like so, to remain the only story where the love between a human being and a certain species works out, the ending to "Gumiho" repeats itself several times. But even if you agree to the happy ending of "Gumiho," you are not agreeing to 'the world where everything is possible' in "Gumiho but merely agreeing emotionally from the hope that Dae-woong and Miho, who showed 'real love, not an illusion,' will not disappear and are living together happily. The Hong sisters had the chance to present a romantic story which overcomes obstacles in reality and moves between parodies and fantasy but it ran into limitations in terms of creating 'the world of the Hong sisters.'

비극이냐, 해피엔딩이냐 여부를 놓고 세간의 이목이 집중됐던 SBS '내 여자친구는 구미호(이하 여친구)'가 끝내 해피엔딩으로 대단원의 막을 내렸다.
30일 방송된 최종회는 비록 구미호(신민아 분)가 인간이 되는 데는 실패했지만 대웅(이승기 분)의 옆에서 행복하게 함께 살게 되는 모습이 그려졌다.
그간 '여친구'는 '호이 커플' 미호와 대웅, 두 사람 중 한 명이 죽음을 맞아야 하는 설정으로 많은 시청자들의 애간장을 녹였다.
실제로 이날 대웅은 미호를 위해 자신의 목숨까지 버리려 했던 결심이 미호의 죽음을 멈추게 할 수 없다는 사실에 좌절했다. 미호는 끝내 죽음을 맞아야 하는 것이다. 미호는 "나는 사라지게 될 거야. 난 사람이 되고 싶은 마음을 멈출 수 없었어"라며 죽음이 멈추지 않았음을 고백했다.
이에 미호는 대웅의 곁을 떠나려 하지만 동주(노민우 분)는 "떠나는 건 나 혼자에요. 당신의 마지막을 지켜주는 건 저 사람"이라며 대웅을 그녀 앞에 데려온다.
대웅은 자신 몰래 떠나려했던 미호를 향해 "넌 지독하게 나쁜 구미호야. 이젠 심장 다 뜯어지게 아프게 하네. 정말 무서운 구미호야"라며 그녀를 원망했다. 이에 미호는 "미안해. 내가 네 옆에 있는 게 아무리 아프고 무서워도 계속 네 옆에 있어도 돼?"라며 죽음을 앞둔 마지막 순간을 함께 하기로 결심한다.
그렇게 두 사람은 애틋한 마지막 하루를 함께 보내고, 슬픈 마지막 키스를 나누며 미호를 사라진다.
하지만 이게 끝은 아니냐. 삼신할머니는 "목숨 아홉 개를 다 잃고 구슬까지 인간에게 넘겨줬는데 그냥 살려줄 수는 없지 않냐"면서도 "시간이 흐르다보면 하늘이 정신 줄 놓을 때도 있겠지"라고 묘한 여운을 남긴다.
이렇게 시간은 흘러 대웅은 영화 '월하검객'으로 세간의 주목을 받게 되고, 그런 대웅 앞에 동주가 갑자기 모습을 드러낸다. 동주는 "곧 일식이 있을 거다. 원래 달과 해는 만날 수 없는데 달과 해가 만나는 게 일식"이라며 "하늘이 정신이 나간 미친 시간이 곧 올 것"이라고 미호가 돌아올 것임을 암시했다.
일식 직후 미호의 전화기가 울리고 대웅은 미호의 전화를 받는다. 미호는 "지금은 너한테 안 보일거야. 하지만 네 곁에, 난 네 곁에 있어"라는 말을 남기고 전화가 끊기고 만다.
그리고 이렇게 끝나는 것이냐 좌절하는 대웅 앞에 꿈처럼 미호가 나타난다. 대웅은 "귀신이든, 사람이든 상관없다"며 "그냥 내 옆에만 있어 달라. 돌아온 거면 됐다"고 기쁨의 눈물을 흘린다.
물론 미호는 "아직 꼬리가 하나 남아 있다"며 인간이 되는 데는 실패했음을 고백했다. 하지만 두 사람은 생사, 혹은 인간이냐 구미호냐 여부를 떠나 사랑의 힘으로 모든 것을 극복하며 행복한 결말을 맺었다.

On the 15th episode, the drama parodies '인생은 아름다워' and '자인언트', stirring laughter from the audience. This drama started off with comedy element, so the ending should be a happy one. But thanks to Hong Sisters for their incredibly good script-writing skills, there's lots of twist-and-turn in the story, making the viewers worry for a sad ending.

“Mm, it seems like today passed by somewhat hectically. I think I was really hectic today as I was preparing for this concert. Whenever I prepare a song or an album or a concert like this, I learn a lot. This album also taught me a lot. And getting ready for this concert and meeting all of my fans like this face to face, really taught me a lot.
“Ah, really, seeing as how I can say that I gained something even in the middle of all this hecticness, I can see that I have an even greater ambition in my heart to always make myself better for the next time. I think when it comes to my stage and music, the next time is always more precious to me. I want to thank all of you for cheering me on to become the kind of musician I’ve dreamed of being, one step at a time.
“I don’t know why I feel so out of my mind today.. Probably because I had been thinking about this concert since I was putting together the album. I worked on my album while thinking about my concert, and maybe it’s because my expectations were so big, but it seems like it went by kind of out of control. I think all of you felt that way too.
“Now the journey of my solo album.. It was a really long journey. As with all journeys, there were difficult and lonely times, but all of those times taught me great things. All those things I experienced and the things I fought through and won on my own, all those things are helping me now. Maybe that’s why I’m really sad to see my solo promotions come to a close after tomorrow’s concert. It feels really bittersweet.
“Because I want to show you only good things of myself all the time, I think my next solo album.. I think that it will have to take a long time. Because I think I’ll only be able to put together a new album after searching more of myself and knowing more of who I am. There’s so many things that need to be done and so many things I lack that need to be filled up. The important thing now is that I’ve been thinking that I have to spend a lot more time for myself. And then when I’ve put together a good album.. when I’ve made an album that I am satisfied with, I’ll be able to see all of you again.
“I don’t know why I feel so sad. But because so much has happened during this time, I often think that I need some time to myself. To tell you the truth, I don’t know if it’s because of that, but I had a hard time finding control when the concert began. It was really hard to control myself, even though I should have held myself together more..
“One thing I want to say to all of you, is that there is much more of my stage and my music that I want to show you, so I would love it if you believed in me and waited for me like you do now. And I would love it if we could see each other with smiling faces when that time comes, like how it was when we first met.
“And I would like all of you to really be happy. All of you who came tonight and those that couldn’t be here but enjoy my music are so special to me, and I want to say that I am truly thankful. Thank you so much.

Model and actor Kim Jae-wook has been cast in an upcoming TV series starring top Korean actors Jang Keun-suk and Moon Geun-young, according to the show's promoter Ytree;media.
Ytree announced through a press release that Kim will appear as the love rival of Jang Keun-suk's character in the series based on online comic "Mary is Out of Night" by famed cartoon writer Won Soo-yeon set to air starting November.
Kim will take on the role of Jung-in, the Mr. Perfect with money, brains and the looks who weds Mary, played by Moon, for 100 days in a fake marriage.
Kim, 27, came into the spotlight after appearing in smash hit drama "The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince" (MBC, 2007) and has since made several more appearances on the small and big screen including film "Antique" and most recently drama "Bad Boy."
